About us

At National Gas, the work we do matters.

While providing the energy security Britain relies on today, we're also helping transform the network for a clean energy future.

Join us and help secure Britain's energy.

About the role

Take the technical lead on electrical investment projects that help keep some of Britain’s most important gas infrastructure safe, reliable, and resilient.

As Lead Electrical Engineer, you’ll have end-to-end accountability for electrical projects, from definition and design through construction, commissioning, and close‑out, ensuring delivery meets safety, technical, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.

You’ll help protect that performance by delivering investment projects and making sure new and modified assets meet the right technical standards.

It’s an opportunity to combine your electrical expertise with project leadership, influencing designs, solving site challenges, and working with contractors and operational teams to deliver improvements that have a real impact on our network.

  • Build strong relationships across engineering, operations, project teams, suppliers, and contractors
