Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer for a design and build contractor in Worcester. You will lead electrical building services design across multiple projects, specify equipment and perform design calculations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has senior electrical design experience, an HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Amtech software; a driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Lead Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Electrical Design Engineer is required to join a design and build contractor, with a background in electrical building services from an Electrical Contractor or Building Services Consultancy background.

Package

We require someone to hit the ground running so only able to accept applications from local individuals with electrical design experience in building services.

The Role

• Electrical design of LV electrical layout requirements for multiple simultaneous projects


• Equipment selections and design calculations


• Attend Teams meeting with customers


• Assist with project planning


• Maintenance of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance


• Specification of compliant parts and practices

You

• An experienced Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer


• Likely to have worked in an Electrical Contractor or Building Services Consultancy


• Previous experience in senior / leadership role


• Electrical Design skills are essential


• HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering


• AutoCAD experience/qualification


• Amtech design calculation software experience is preferable
