Qualifications

Engineering company in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals or highly regulated industry.

Role

Lead EC&I Engineer for a project portfolio, responsible for EC&I engineering and design, change control, consistency, and acting as the technical authority for the EC&I discipline.

Responsibilities
  • Design EC&I within engineering, EPCM or EPC projects and act as technical authority.
  • Lead and coordinate all EC&I engineering and design across disciplines.
  • Check and approve Engineering and Design estimates.
  • Manage EC&I engineering and design for projects across the UK and Europe from concept to commissioning.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as Lead Engineer EC&I in an EPCM/EPC company in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals or Food sectors.
  • Deep knowledge of EC&I engineering and design, and sound knowledge of related disciplines (Automation, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Process).
  • Experience as technical authority or line manager for an engineering organization.
  • MEng/BEng in EC&I Engineering.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, TUV Certification.
  • Strong understanding of main standards (7671, 7430, 61508, 61511, ATEX, DSEAR, LV and HV).
  • Experienced with EC&I design packages including AMTECH, AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and MS Office.
