Banana Moon Day Nursery Gloucester is seeking a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprentice to join as Room Leader. You will lead daily operations, plan activities, and support children's learning within the EYFS framework.

The role requires a Level 3 childcare qualification, ability to obtain a DBS, and GCSEs in Maths and English. Working hours are 7:30am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for progression after the apprenticeship.

Formación

• Level 3 Childcare qualification essential.
• Must be able to gain a clear DBS.
• GCSE Maths and English graded A*-C / 4-9 or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities supporting learning and development.
• Ensure EYFS compliance, safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
• Supervise and guide room staff, promoting teamwork and high care standards.
• Maintain observations, assessments, and developmental records; communicate with parents.
