Lead Digital Project Manager

Full-time

About Us

We're a 30-person digital agency founded in 2015. We partner with ambitious startups and established brands to design, build, and grow brands, websites and e-commerce stores that make an impact. We pride ourselves on combining high creative standards with solid delivery. Right now, we're looking for a Lead Project Manager to help us keep that balance as we scale.

The Role

You'll be the go-to person for our PM team — leading by example, coaching 3-4 project managers, and running a couple of our client projects yourself.

Think player‑coach: you'll manage key projects while mentoring the team, maintaining delivery standards, and making sure things run smoothly. You'll work closely with department heads and our Client Services Director, representing the PM perspective in leadership conversations.

This role requires someone who can balance being supportive with being direct; coaching your team while holding firm standards around delivery quality, communication, and accountability.

What You'll Do
Lead & Develop the PM Team
  • Mentor 3-4 project managers through regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and real-time coaching
  • Raise the bar on delivery standards, tool hygiene, and proactive client communication
  • Help each PM develop their skills with tailored growth plans
Drive Delivery Excellence
  • Manage 2-3 client accounts, showing the team what great looks like
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the quality we're known for
  • Champion accountability
  • Act as escalation point for complex client challenges or project roadblocks
  • Set quality standards and make sure handoffs between teams are smooth
Shape How We Work
  • Maintain and improve PM processes and templates as we go, without unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Coach PMs on effective scope management and keeping projects on track and on budget
  • Help improve capacity planning and project forecasting
  • Keep evolving our tools and ways of working
  • Represent PM team in leadership meetings, contributing to resourcing decisions
What We're Looking For
  • 4-5+ years in digital project management, ideally in an agency environment
  • You've mentored or coached PMs before (or are ready to step into this responsibility)
  • Track record of driving efficiency and profitability through better processes, scoping, or resource management
  • Strong grasp of design and development workflows (bonus for Shopify and Craft CMS)
  • You're great with clients: clear, empathetic, confident, and focused on solving problems
  • You're comfortable juggling multiple projects with designers, developers, and other moving parts
  • You're disciplined with project management tools and can get your team to be too
  • You spot problems coming and stay calm when things heat up
  • Self‑starter who can independently plan, prioritise, and own their workload
  • Ability to balance creativity, quality, and profitability
  • You're not afraid to have tough conversations, but you do it with respect and care
Why Join Us?
  • Shape how we work as we grow — this is your chance to make a real impact
  • Work with ambitious international clients across diverse industries
  • Collaborative, high‑trust culture — we give you autonomy and expect you to own it
  • Competitive salary
  • Fully remote
  • Company hardware + annual team trip
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • 34 days annual leave including bank holidays, plus separate paid Christmas break
  • Enhanced parental leave policies
