Job summary
Babcock Technology Centre, Warrington, is seeking a Principal Digital Engineer to lead digital transformation across naval and defence programmes. You will shape the digital strategy, drive BIM adoption, and oversee information management across project teams.
This senior role requires strong leadership, experience with ISO 19650, and the ability to engage stakeholders at the highest level. The position offers hybrid working and opportunities to influence future digital delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership in digital engineering management and delivery.
- Expertise in BIM, CAD and information management, including ISO 19650.
- Experience creating BIM Execution Plans and information delivery plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital engineering workflows and project-wide digital strategy.
- Ensure high-quality digital deliverables and ISO 19650 compliance.
- Oversee digital engineers’ workload and timely delivery across BIM activities.
- Produce detailed reports and risk documentation for delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to realise BIM and information management strategies.
