Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Band 7 Dietitian to lead complex nutrition support for inpatient and outpatient care, including critical care, spinal injuries and intestinal failure, with a weekly spinal injuries clinic at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

The post includes line management of a Band 6 Dietitian, supervision of junior staff and students, and involvement in service development and quality improvement projects within a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

Experience delivering complex nutrition support for critical care and NSIC.
Ability to lead service development and quality improvement projects.
Line management responsibilities for a Band 6 dietitian and supervision of students.

Responsibilities

Manage a Dietetic caseload in critical care, spinal injuries and intestinal failure.
Lead a weekly spinal injuries Dietetic clinic at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Work autonomously with community services to ensure seamless care across transitions.
Provide clinical supervision for junior staff and dietetic students.
