Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a Lead Developer to act as the technical lead for a development team within the public sector. The role is based in London with 2 days onsite at Westminster, offering a 6-month contract and SC security clearance requirement.

You will translate complex user needs into secure, maintainable technical solutions, lead and coach developers, and ensure standards, security and quality controls are applied across delivery, including CI/CD and modern frontend frameworks.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on development experience and leadership.
• Experience delivering software using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, RESTful APIs, SQL/SQL Server, Git and modern frontend frameworks.
• Ability to coach, mentor and lead agile delivery teams.
• Designs secure, maintainable systems with medium to high complexity.

Responsabilités

• Acting as the technical lead for a development team, shaping and assuring technical delivery.
• Translating user and business needs into secure, maintainable technical solutions.
• Making local technical decisions aligned with architectural direction and standards.
• Coaching and mentoring developers to raise engineering practices.
• Ensuring engineering standards, security, quality controls are applied consistently.
• Collaborating with DevOps, product teams and other stakeholders for joined-up delivery.
• Advancing engineering through automated testing, CI/CD, observability and reusable components.
• Supporting agile delivery with focus on user value, outcomes and cost efficiency.
