Job summary

Cambridge Design Partnership is seeking a design verification engineer to join multidisciplinary teams on complex technical projects. You will plan, develop and execute testing programmes, lead testing workstreams and collaborate with project managers to ensure products meet requirements and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will have hands-on engineering experience, strong communication, and a track record in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharma packaging.

Qualifications

• Career in pharmaceutical or medical device development, ideally with launch experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronic or systems engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience defining and standardising methodologies or processes.
• Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable operating in environments with ambiguity, change and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop testing programs, participate in testing, interpret results and address failures.
• Identify standards and regulations and incorporate them into testing.
• Plan and conduct testing in line with CDP processes and QMS.
• Design and develop test rigs and fixtures for test methods.
• Plan and execute qualification and validation activities with risk-based approach.
• Apply statistics to testing programs with rationales and justifications.
• Maintain traceability docs showing product meets requirements and support handover.
