Job summary

Dentalcare Pangbourne is seeking a Head Dental Nurse/Compliance Officer to lead the nursing team and ensure high standards of patient care.

You will oversee regulatory compliance (CQC, NMC) and governance, manage care plans and documentation, and collaborate with the Registered Manager.

We offer up to 40 hours, negotiable pay, training, 28 days holiday, Investors in People recognition, and modern equipment.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in a nursing or senior clinical role.
• Knowledge of CQC requirements and compliance.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Confident leader and communicator.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to nursing and care team.
• Maintain high standards of clinical care and best practice.
• Support compliance with CQC regulations and governance.
• Ensure care plans, medication records, audits and docs are accurate.
• Support staff with guidance and development.
• Assist with audits, inspections and quality improvement.
• Promote safeguarding and infection prevention.
• Work with Registered Manager and management team.
