Job summary

Thrivin is seeking an experienced Demand Planner & Buyer to own planning, purchasing and inventory across our fast-growing global ecommerce brand. You will forecast, manage open-to-buy, place POs and optimise stock to balance availability and margins.

You will work with product, operations and commercial teams, delivering insights to support trading decisions and future growth while scaling Thrivin’s demand planning processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in apparel planning, merchandising, buying or related field.
• Personally owning an open-to-buy and making commercial buying decisions.
• Hands-on experience creating and placing purchase orders.
• Strong planning fundamentals: weeks of cover, sell-through, size curves, stock health.

Responsibilities

• Own open-to-buy by category with forecasts, receipts and monthly plan vs actuals.
• Lead bi-weekly replenishment cycle end-to-end from demand to PO submission.
• Determine newness buy quantities by style, colour and size aligned to launches.
• Own full purchase order lifecycle including PO creation, amendments and invoicing.
• Maintain healthy stock levels, in-stock rates and size availability.
• Monitor inventory performance and mitigate stock risks.
• Lead markdowns and overstock actions to optimise sell-through.
• Analyse planning metrics: weeks of cover, sell-through, margin and discount rate.
• Deliver planning insights during weekly/monthly trade reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers on proforma invoices, MOQs and lead times.
