Job summary

Morson Edge (Technology) seeks an experienced Lead DBA to own database architecture, operations and strategy across critical systems. This hands-on leadership role ensures secure, scalable, highly available databases with strong performance and reliability.

You will design and maintain resilient infrastructure, implement replication, clustering and disaster recovery, and mentor a DBA team while collaborating with engineering, DevOps and SRE to define standards and support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB.
• Expertise in high availability, replication, clustering and DR.
• Unix/Linux administration and scripting.
• DB performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Security, governance and compliance knowledge.
• Leadership and mentoring of DBAs.
• Automation, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD (Ansible, Terraform).
• Cloud or hybrid database platforms.
• Observability and monitoring tools.
• Sharding and large-scale DB environments.
• Application performance and DB integration.

Responsibilities

• Own database architecture, operations and strategy.
• Design and maintain resilient database infrastructure.
• Mentor a team of DBAs and collaborate with Eng/DevOps/SRE.
