With several lab teams collaborating on various features, data is key to our strategy and at the centre of our investment programme.

Like the modern Britain we serve, we're evolving. Investing billions in our people, data and tech to transform the way we meet the ever-changing needs of our 26 million customers. We're embracing collaborative, agile ways of working, to help us deliver the best outcomes for our colleagues, customers and businesses. We're growing with purpose. Join us on our journey and you will too!
Data is one of our key assets. In a world of Big Data, Data Engineers are fundamental to unlocking safe, timely, scalable, and controlled access to it at enterprise scale. This is an opportunity to be a part of our journey to transform how the UK's largest bank handles its data at scale.
You’ll be responsible for producing / curating (designing, developing, moving, transforming, testing, and maintaining) Data Products. This enables consumers to ingest, transform, store, and analyse our data to gain insight and drive value for our customers, regulators, shareholders and colleagues.
You’ll be expected to draw on both your Data and Engineering expertise to build Data Products using modern technologies. A strong background in Data as well as Technology is a consistent characteristic of great practitioners who make an impact in this role.
We're on an exciting journey and there couldn't be a better time to join us. The investments we're making in our people, data, and technology are leading to innovative projects, fresh possibilities, and countless new ways for our people to work, learn, and thrive.
Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms. We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture. We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative. And it's why we especially welcome applications from under‑represented groups. We're disability confident. So if you'd like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know.
