Job summary

Eden Brown is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning process from project start to close. Initially UK based, with a move to site in around a year, you will coordinate stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to drive progress and deliver a well-managed commissioning conclusion.

You will oversee the commissioning plan, mentor engineers, manage tagging, and report progress to clients. The role requires travel and extensive on-site leadership across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years experience in a Commissioning Manager position on large-scale industrial, commercial or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services and commissioning processes.
• Knowledge of European standards, regulations and industry best practice.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commissioning activities on site from planning through to project completion.
• Develop, implement and manage the project commissioning plan.
• Oversee and mentor commissioning engineers and other direct reports.
• Manage the commissioning tagging process and ensure all procedures are followed.
• Monitor and report commissioning progress to both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Chair weekly commissioning meetings and coordinate daily commissioning activities.
• Lead daily whiteboard meetings to drive progress and resolve commissioning issues.
• Attend main contractor and client commissioning meetings, providing regular progress updates.
• Work closely with project planners to develop and maintain the commissioning programme.
• Ensure all commissioning personnel are accurately recorded on labour allocation trackers.

Working with Stakeholders, General Contractors, Commissioning Agents and Architect/Engineering Consultants. The role will be to lead, coordinate, track and drive all these parties activities to deliver a well-managed and successful conclusion to the Commissioning Process.
