A leading consultancy for data centres is seeking a Lead Commissioning Agent to oversee compliant commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems. Qualifications

• Trade apprenticeship or relevant electrical/mechanical engineering qualification.
• CSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS certification – essential.
• Ideally 4-6 years’ technical experience in design, installation, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliant commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Lead commissioning delivery across multiple projects.
• Act as the primary commissioning interface for clients and contractors.

Skills

Commissioning experience in mission-critical environments

Stakeholder management

Understanding of commissioning processes

Client-facing skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commissioning tools

Education

BEng (Hons) in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering

Trade apprenticeship or relevant electrical/mechanical engineering qualification

Project management qualification (e.g., Prince2)
