Job summary

NatWest Group is seeking a Lead Specialist Data Architect to steer the strategic target architecture for People, Marketing, LG&RA and Corporate Affairs. You will guide technology choices, shape roadmaps and promote shared data capabilities across functions.

You will lead architecture reviews, collaborate with senior stakeholders and embed DevOps practices to deliver high-impact data solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Cloud, microservices and AI technologies.
• Proven ability to define strategic target architectures and roadmaps.
• Strong experience with agile architecture and DevOps practices.
• Experience leading architectural decision-making with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor teams and promote knowledge sharing across architecture groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic target architecture and roadmap for designated functions.
• Promote adoption of shared capabilities and create playbooks for stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve architectural impediments across delivery teams.
• Partner with senior business and technology leaders to ensure architectural alignment with strategy.
• Champion CI/CD integration and DevOps practices within projects.
• Shape, govern and evolve data architecture in line with enterprise standards.
