Job summary

Anson Mccade is partnering with a leading digital and technology consultancy to recruit a Lead Data Architect – Healthcare (Data & AI) in London. The role combines pre‑sales, solution design and delivery leadership within a growing Data & AI practice.

You will engage senior stakeholders, shape opportunities, design large-scale data and AI solutions, and mentor consultants across healthcare programmes. Hybrid working and strategic impact across the UK public healthcare sector are key.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating as a Data or AI consultant in client-facing environments, including pre-sales and opportunity shaping.
  • Strong expertise across core data architecture disciplines: data modelling, data transformation and migration, metadata management, data governance.
  • Proven track record delivering or assuring large-scale Data or AI programmes within healthcare or the public sector.
  • Experience providing technical leadership across complex delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement up to Director and C-suite level.
  • Broad understanding of modern data platforms, cloud ecosystems, analytics, and AI/ML.
  • Experience across the full sales lifecycle, from shaping through to proposal and close.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions and exploratory workshops with senior stakeholders; shape early-stage opportunities and support qualification activities.
  • Lead or assure the design of complex data and AI solutions; take ownership of data architecture across delivery programmes; define data models, data flows, governance frameworks and transformation strategies.
  • Develop reusable accelerators and offerings aligned to healthcare data and AI; support go-to-market proposition development; contribute to industry engagement.
  • Track emerging trends in healthcare data and AI; apply new tools and approaches to improve solution quality; mentor individuals across the Data & AI practice.

Your Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement & Pre‑Sales
    Lead discovery sessions and exploratory workshops with senior stakeholders
    Shape early‑stage opportunities and support qualification activities
    Develop compelling, solution‑led proposals and presentations
    Act as a trusted advisor across healthcare organisations
  • Data Architecture & Delivery
    Lead or assure the design of complex data and AI solutions
    Take ownership of data architecture across delivery programmes
    Define data models, data flows, governance frameworks, and transformation strategies
    Provide technical leadership and assurance across delivery teams
    Advise on platform selection and data operating models
  • Offers & Thought Leadership
    Develop reusable accelerators and offerings aligned to healthcare data and AI
    Support go‑to‑market proposition development
    Contribute to industry engagement and knowledge sharing
  • Innovation & Leadership
    Track emerging trends in healthcare data and AI
    Apply new tools and approaches to improve solution quality
    Lead and mentor individuals across the Data & AI practice
Key Requirements
  • Experience operating as a Data or AI consultant in client‑facing environments, including pre‑sales and opportunity shaping
  • Strong expertise across core data architecture disciplines, including:
