Qualifications

• Strong background in Data Architecture or Data Platform Engineering.
• Experience owning architecture across complex enterprise programmes.
• Knowledge of cloud, on-prem and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage and lifecycle management.
• Understanding of scalable integration patterns, APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.
• Experience working within secure, regulated or mission-critical environments is highly desirable.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Lead Data Architect to join their team in Farnborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Architect to take ownership of a large-scale Data Fabric architecture, helping shape the future of secure, scalable and resilient data platforms used within highly complex environments. The role combines strategic architecture ownership with hands‑on technical leadership across engineering and data teams.

As Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for defining and evolving the overall data architecture roadmap, ensuring strong governance, interoperability and scalable deployment across secure customer environments. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, guiding technical direction whilst remaining close to delivery and implementation.
