SSE PLC in Scotland is recruiting a Lead Data Analyst to shape and lead P&C Data & Insights analytics, from data pipelines and DataHub to dashboards and data products.
You will manage a small team of analysts, prioritise work with senior stakeholders, drive data quality and governance, and mentor the analytics community while delivering tangible business value.
Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations Glasgow Waterloo Street or Eurocentral
Salary: £64,085 - £76,581+ a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Our Procurement & Commercial (P&C) function is transforming how data, insight and AI support decision making across the business.
Over recent years, we've established a modern data platform, launched DataHub as our central reporting and insight service, embedded data governance across critical business domains and begun introducing AI-powered solutions into operational processes. As demand for data-driven decision making continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Lead Data Analyst to help shape the next phase of that journey.
This role sits within the P&C Data & Insights team and provides technical, delivery and thought leadership across our analytics estate. You'll lead a small team of analysts, shape priorities across a diverse portfolio of work, drive continuous improvement of our data services and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our reporting, governance and AI ambitions translate into tangible business value whilst helping develop the capability of both our analytics team and wider user community.
