Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Lead Cyber GRC Consultant to shape and embed governance, risk and compliance across a major UK infrastructure programme. You will collaborate with cyber, IT, digital, delivery and project teams to identify and manage cyber risks, developing policies and reporting for senior stakeholders.

This hands-on consultancy role requires independent operation, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive outcomes through influence within a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end cyber security or IT security governance, risk and compliance activities.
• Experience creating and implementing cyber policies, standards, frameworks and governance processes.
• Knowledge of recognised security and risk frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, NCSC CAF, Government Security Standards, or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate complex cyber risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Delivery-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge constructively and work autonomously.

• Develop and embed governance, risk and compliance practices across a complex project environment.
• Lead development and implementation of policies, standards, controls and assurance activities.
• Translate technical and cyber risks into clear, evidence-based reporting for senior stakeholders.
