Job summary

Empower Youth Zones in Salford is seeking a Creative Arts Coordinator to develop and deliver a vibrant 7-day creative offer for our Junior and Senior members, with a 50:50 split between coordination and face-to-face delivery.

You will build partnerships with local groups, shape the arts programme, and provide line management support to a team of sessional youth workers, ensuring high standards and a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a 7-day creative offer for Junior and Senior members.
• Engage existing and new local partners to provide a wide range of creative activities.
• Design, develop and deliver creative activities for young people.
• Provide direct line management, coaching and development for a team of sessional youth workers.
• Oversee sessions within the Arts, Media and Makerspace areas, maintaining a safe, well-organised and welcoming environment.
• Manage equipment and resources and ensure activities are delivered to a high standard.
