Portakabin Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to join the GB Healthcare team, coordinating nationwide projects with regular travel. The role offers an annual salary up to £67,000 plus an on-target bonus of up to 10% and a company car.

Benefits include private medical and 25 days leave plus holidays. Key responsibilities include delivering large or complex contracts safely, on time, and to budget, leading cross-functional teams, and maintaining customer relationships.

Formación

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering large and complex construction or modular projects.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies and processes.
• Strong knowledge of financial control in project delivery and cost management.
• Experience leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and contractors.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues during delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership for successful project management and delivery of large or complex contracts, ensuring safety, on time, to spec, within budget and to customer satisfaction.
• Act as SME in project delivery, sharing knowledge to support best practice.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve contract objectives.
• Maintain or improve margins and cash flow through planning, budgeting, risk control and commercial decisions.
• Produce regular reports for stakeholders with progress against programme, costs and milestones.
• Identify and manage risks, maintain a risk register and act on opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Ensure contract compliance, manage variations and resolve disputes where required.
• Build strong customer relationships and be the main point of contact for allocated contracts.
• Support bid and pre-construction activity with operational input.
• Provide coaching, support and, where applicable, line management for contract team members.
