Job summary

Pearson Whiffin Accounts & Finance are recruiting for an experienced Plant Supervisor to join a growing organisation in the building materials sector in Tunbridge Wells. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy concrete plant, ensuring safe and efficient production.

The role requires strong planning and excellent communication with drivers and dispatch to maintain quality, service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the ready-mix concrete industry is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of a busy concrete plant.
• Ensure production runs safely and efficiently to high quality standards.
• Coordinate batching and deliveries with drivers and dispatch teams.
• Monitor plant performance and respond to operational issues.
• Manage stock levels, plant equipment and delivery records.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
