Job summary

Sophie Bell and Associates in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Adult Clinical Service Lead Nurse – Complex Care to support clients with complex medical needs in the community. You will provide clinical oversight, develop person-centred care plans, and lead training for carers on equipment such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, and PEG feeding.

The role requires an adult registered nurse with NMC, substantial critical care or community complex care experience, excellent teaching

Qualifications

• Adult Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Significant experience in adult critical care or community complex care.
• Ability to manage tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeding, and complex medication regimens.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Care Planning: Designing, implementing, and reviewing personalised care plans to meet clients’ needs safely.
• Training and Education: Delivering hands‑on training to carers on tracheostomy care, ventilation, spinal/AD, PEG feeding, neurological conditions and medications.
• Clinical Expertise: Providing high‑quality nursing care while adhering to best practices in complex care.
• Collaboration: Working with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, person‑centred care, liaising with therapists, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ongoing Support: Acting as a key point of contact for clients, families, and carers, offering guidance and advocacy.
