Overview

We are looking for a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who is an expert in your field, skilled in multiple disciplines, a role model in Infrastructure operations and has proven experience in the design, development and support of infrastructure services. We're using fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions that will be used by nearly every person in the UK, every day and at key moments in their lives. Qualifications

• Extensive proven experience of providing technical leadership and support within a team of Infrastructure Engineers.
• Demonstrable comprehension of Azure.
• Expert proficiency of working with networking including DNS, NSGs, VNETS, etc.
• Extensive experience of Scripting systems for example Terraform.
• Detailed working knowledge and experience of version control systems such as Git, Gitlab CI, Gitlab Dedicated.
• In depth expertise and proven experience of working in an agile environment building, deploying, supporting and operating cloud applications (in particular Azure).

You'll work closely with senior leaders to influence big decisions, represent the department with external partners and make sure we're always ahead of the curve in cloud engineering. Pay up to £89,995 plus 28.97% employer pension contributions, hybrid working, flexible hours, and great work life balance.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub. Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £89,995. Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth over £21,000 per year. Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
