Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Data Acquisition Expert - EDC in Reading, UK. You will design and implement advanced clinical systems to enhance trial design and execution, leading cross-functional teams and mentoring colleagues.

Your role focuses on CRF design, data management systems, and evaluating new technologies to improve processes. A bachelor's degree and extensive experience in clinical systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing clinical systems.
• Experience with Medidata Rave.
• Strong leadership and matrix-management abilities.
• Proven data analysis and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of clinical systems, ensuring alignment with study protocols and operational needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements and innovations in trial processes.
• Oversee system configuration, integration and testing to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
• Provide strategic guidance on implementing new technologies and best practices in clinical system design.
• Stay current with industry trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate in-depth CRF design knowledge and experience with multiple clinical data management systems, including system administration.
