Job summary

CSL is seeking a Senior Clinical Statistical Programmer to take technical ownership of one or two trials from first line of code to submission package. This hands-on role requires shaping data structure, building datasets, and delivering submission‑ready outputs with strong regulatory rigour.

You will work alongside statisticians, data managers and regulatory colleagues to ensure datasets and outputs stand up to audit and regulatory scrutiny.

Qualifications

• Experience of programming in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or clinical research settings.
• Strong SAS proficiency (Base/Macro/Stat/Graph); familiarity with R or other languages is a plus.
• Working knowledge of CDISC standards — CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, define.xml.
• Track record of producing and validating submission‑ready TFLs and datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end programming for assigned studies, in‑house or outsourced.
• Design and validate SDTM and ADaM datasets, tables, figures, and listings.
• Review CRO‑produced deliverables and ensure submission‑ready quality.
• Lead integrated analyses and outputs when not handled by CRO.
• Mentor other programmers and contribute to tooling and processes.
• Handle ad hoc analyses and regulatory query responses as needed.
