Job summary

Stantec is seeking experienced Civil Engineers to join its UK water-focused design and build teams. You will develop technical solutions and detailed designs across capital programmes, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with Project Managers to meet cost, schedule, quality and technical standards.

This role offers growth within a global consultancy, with a focus on sustainable water infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or other relevant subject.
• Ideally Incorporated or Chartered member of a relevant engineering institution (ICE, CIWEM).
• Experience developing detailed designs in a contractor-led environment and leading/developing Civil engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical solutions and detailed designs.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure projects meet cost, schedule, quality, and technical standards.
• Provide expert input across all stages of project delivery, ensuring alignment with partner and Stantec expectations.
