Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Ofsted Registered Manager for our new not-for-profit Children's Services Residential Home in York. You will lead and develop the home, supporting children with learning disabilities and complex needs, while ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

As an experienced manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor Support Workers, and drive best practice from launch.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding and Ofsted regulations.
• Experience planning and implementing care plans with high-quality documentation (Children’s Homes Regulations 2015).
• Experience supporting children with learning disabilities and complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the children’s residential home in York.
• Lead, manage and support teams of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements and maintain high-quality care.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
