Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel are recruiting for a Team Manager in Child Protection and Children In Need within Children's Social Care in Knowsley, Merseyside. The role offers flexibility with Full Time or Part Time hours and an ongoing contract, paying £45.00 per hour.

You will lead and supervise a CIN and Child Protection Team, provide reflective supervision and ensure statutory timescales are met, with current registration with Social Work England required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
• CQSW or DipSW qualifications recognised for registration.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Evidence of management or leadership training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise a Children In Need and Child Protection Team, ensuring workload allocation and delivery of statutory services.
• Provide reflective supervision, performance management, coaching, and professional development to social work staff.
• Oversee decision-making on safeguarding cases, Child Protection Plans, and CIN assessments.
• Monitor case progression to meet statutory timescales and local safeguarding procedures.
