Job summary

Anglian Country Inns is seeking a strong kitchen leader to guide a busy kitchen across our venues. You will drive standards, mentor staff, and ensure safety and quality in a hospitality environment. This role requires a proactive, communicative leader who can partner with the General Manager to hit site targets and deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, foster relationships with suppliers, and model our values while supporting events and hotel activities.

Qualifications

• Lead kitchen teams with safety and hygiene focus.
• Strong organisation and communication to deliver quality service.
• Ability to mentor staff and drive kitchen targets.

Responsibilities

• Keep your team and guests safe at all times
• Drive standards and knowledge to create food Wow moments for your guests
• Be an ambassador of the Food Journey and exceed your guests’ expectations
• Communicate regularly and effectively with your team, General Manager and Operations Team
• Build a working partnership with your General Manager to deliver your site and kitchen targets
• Build and maintain relationships with our Product Partners
• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operational running of the site, from restaurant to hotel and events
• Manage, develop and grow your team – be a great communicator
• Take responsibility for your role and think on your feet when needed
• Be a great role model and set the standards for our guests and team
