You will oversee food preparation, cooking and cleaning, manage menus, ensure food safety and quality, and work with the General Manager and executive team to achieve the establishment’s goals. The role offers generous benefits and opportunities for development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Head Chef or Executive Chef.
• Experience managing teams in a busy kitchen.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking and cleaning.
• Maintain kitchen equipment as required.
• Supervise chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring a cohesive team environment.
• Resolve issues to maintain smooth foodservice operations.
• Maintain control of the kitchen to ensure efficiency at all times.
• Plan menus based on ingredient availability and costings.
• Ensure staff adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean kitchen.
• Inspect raw and cooked food to guarantee the highest quality.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, Executive Chef and operations team to achieve establishment goals.
