Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking an Associate in the Applied Science Practice to provide specialist thermofluids and CFD support to clients across energy, infrastructure and defence sectors. You will help drive new business opportunities, guide teams, and oversee work from facility development to decommissioning.

The UK team collaborates with US colleagues and international offices on decarbonisation projects.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD preferred in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead projects and interface with clients.
• Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities across industries.
• Work on consultancy projects and interface with UK and overseas clients.
• Lead projects across workstreams and present results to help prepare proposals.
• Use judgment to assess and design improvements to engineering systems for client value.
