Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, and hardware.
• Supervise other workers.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures.
