A leading healthcare provider in Harrow is seeking a Lead Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology department. The role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality patient care, conducting various cardiac investigations, and ensuring compliance with standards. We have an opportunity for a Lead Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department.
This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include
You work alongside and support the departmental team leaders & Clinical Services Manager - Cardiology in providing high quality healthcare and technical expertise.
You work in accordance with the standards set by the Society for Cardiological Science & Technology, the British Cardiac Society and the company.
You provide efficient and effective cardiology in the inpatient, day case and outpatient setting.
You lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community, demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
You plan, perform and interpret, with guidance, a range of investigations to a high level of competence for all other Cardiology investigations, including ECG, Holter monitoring, BP monitoring, exercise testing etc.
You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Ability to perform cardiac echocardiography (echo) scans.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector.
Experienced Clinical Lead.
Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics with a BSE qualification.
Device Qualification.
Ability to perform cardiac echocardiography (echo) scans.

You plan, perform and interpret, with guidance, a range of investigations to a high level of competence for all other Cardiology investigations, including ECG, Holter monitoring, BP monitoring, exercise testing etc.
You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
