Qualifications

  • Must have full medical registration with a license to practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and direct psychiatric care.
  • Assess, diagnose and treat young people aged 5-18.
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement.

Skills

Excellent clinical skills using bio-psychosocial perspective
Knowledge of NHS strategic vision
Experience with various patient groups
Ability to meet duties under MHA and MCA

Education

MBBS or equivalent recognised medical qualification
Full medical registration with a license to practice
MRCPsych or equivalent
Relevant higher degree (e.g., MD, PhD, MSc)
