Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in the United Kingdom is recruiting a part-time Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations for a major High Street brand, contracted to 30 hours per week. This role offers progression and development within a company that values its people.

You will lead a frontline team, manage rotas, place stock orders, and ensure high standards of food handling and health & safety while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team and creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
