Job summary

Talent Finder is seeking an experienced CAD / BIM Technician in Leeds to join a structural engineering consultancy. You’ll work independently as the sole technician, producing high-quality AutoCAD and Revit drawings and models, while owning CAD/BIM standards and QA across the office.

You’ll have strong AutoCAD and Revit experience within structural projects, including GA drawings, steelwork and reinforced concrete. Hybrid 2 days remote, 3 days in office, with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CAD/BIM Technician in a structural engineering environment.
• Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills; familiarity with structural Revit modelling (steelwork, reinforced concrete, GA drawings).
• Experience applying CAD/BIM standards and QA procedures; awareness of ISO 19650.

Responsibilities

• Produce, amend and manage high-quality drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop drawings/models from engineers' sketches and calculations.
• Maintain drawings throughout design, ensuring design changes are captured.
• QA checks for consistency with standards and across engineers/projects.
• Provide responsive CAD/BIM support to engineers and manage workload.
