Job summary

Michael Page Technology in the Travel & Logistics sector is hiring a Lead Developer. The role is predominantly hands-on coding (about 70%) with responsibility for a small team of four developers, and 3 days per week in the Woking office with remaining days at home.

You will design and develop scalable C# applications, lead scrum ceremonies, plan sprints, uphold architecture, and mentor teammates while fostering an AI-first culture.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# software development and hands-on coding.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, SQL databases, App Gateways, APIM.
• Experience working in AI-first environments or with AI tooling (Claude or similar).
• Currently mentoring or managing a small development team; leadership training provided.

Description

This role is mainly hands on coding (70%) in C# in an AI first team (Claude) and the rest of your time looking after a small team of 4 developers

• Design and develop scalable and efficient C# applications.
• Run scrum ceremonies
• Sprint planning sessions
• Uphold architecture and engineering standard
• Ensure an AI first culture
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements.
• Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve software issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Maintain and improve existing software systems and applications.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
