Our collaborative and agile culture empowers our teams to make a genuine impact.

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will play an important role in making Hippo the best Consultancy out there. We're confident in our abilities, authentic in our approach, and passionate about what we do.

You will act as a Lead Consultant to deliver Business Analysis services to our clients. You will be a pro at understanding business needs, a confident manager of people, and a champion for designing services with users in mind. You will lead teams through complex challenges, ensuring our methods are consistent and our goals are aligned.

Our solutions empower our customers to build and support secure, scalable, and well-engineered systems beyond traditional boundaries that allow our customers to understand and get the most from their data and digital services. The Lead Business Analyst will be a key player and leader in this.

Please note we are looking for candidates who are looking for growth at the Lead level; therefore, the advertised salary band represents the entry point for this level, allowing for clear progression within the role, which we are very keen to support.

Your Role in a Nutshell

  • Lead workshops with teams and stakeholders to agree on clear goals and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients and stakeholders.
  • Directly manage, coach, and support other Business Analysts to help them grow their skills.
  • Work with Product Owners and Delivery Managers to plan and keep track of what the team will work on.
  • Take a leading role in shaping Hippo's Business Analyst community by sharing good ideas and contributing to our blogs or events.
About the Candidate:
  • Extensive experience leading how teams think about problems, guiding information gathering, and coming to conclusions across a whole service.
  • Proven ability to lead the way in deciding how to figure out project requirements and guiding the team on who to talk to.
  • Experience coaching and guiding other Business Analysts on the best ways to design products with the user in mind.
  • Expertise in using and coaching others on various visual tools (modelling) to show how things work and how to improve processes.
  • Experience managing work by focusing on client needs and ensuring solutions meet those needs across multiple products.
  • Ability to quickly shift your thinking approach if project discussions change.
  • Experience finding, researching, and using new analysis techniques without needing guidance.
  • Proven ability to encourage open communication within a team to help everyone feel responsible and connected.
