Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Production Operative for the Blend Department in Banbury. You will weigh, mix, pack, stack and handle materials, while supporting the Shift Manager to run the department safely and efficiently in line with the master production schedule.

You will ensure HACCP points are maintained, train staff, manage holidays and absences, and uphold quality, safety and sanitation standards across the shift.

Qualifications

• Basic food hygiene qualification is desirable.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Strong communication and numeracy skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise Blend Department activities to meet master production schedule.
• Ensure safety, quality and hygiene standards are followed at all times.
• Report issues to the Blend Manager and drive corrective actions.
• Keep training records for staff updated and compliant.
• Handle shift coverage and handovers efficiently.
