Job summary

RBH is recruiting a Head Bartender for The Met hotel to lead the bar team, inspire guests with creative cocktails, and ensure service that is warm, confident and on-brand.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor staff, manage stock and costs, and partner with the Restaurant & Bar Manager to boost guest experience and bar profitability. This role offers flexible working and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality environments, particularly bars, preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and energise the bar team to deliver warm, confident and on-brand service.
• Coach staff in technical skills and guest engagement.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new bar staff.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to drive improvement.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful team culture that supports learning.
