Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd in Exeter is seeking a Lead Automation Developer to provide technical leadership across the automation development lifecycle. You will architect and deliver complex automations, ensure quality and security, support deployed automations and shape the automation discipline.

Reporting to the Automation Manager, you will collaborate with ICT and business stakeholders, mentor Automation Developers and Controllers, and manage projects, budgets, and delivery against specifications.

Qualifications

• Lead automation development lifecycle with documentation throughout.
• Set and assure development standards, code quality, security and data protection.
• Provide technical leadership in Blue Prism and related automation technologies.
• Design test procedures, oversee UAT and secure formal business sign-off before deployment.
• Oversee handbooks, hypercare, and change control for live automations.
• Mentor Automation Developers & Controllers, promoting accreditation and improvement.
• Manage automation projects, plans, risks, budgets and delivery to specs.
• Collaborate with ICT teams to select APIs, web services and enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of complex automation solutions with clear documentation.
