Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy in the UK is seeking a Lead Auditor to oversee Quality Management Systems and ensure compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate will possess experience in auditing and internal quality assessments, alongside excellent communication skills. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £40,000 and £45,000 P.A. Benefits include fully expensed travel, a company pension, and generous holiday allowance. Remote working is available, along with a Monday to Friday schedule of 9am‑5pm.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Quality or Lead Auditor is required.
  • Familiarity with ISO 17065 and ISO 17020 standards.

Lead Auditor

Our client is a leading organisation in the UK who specialise in the regulatory manufacturing industry. They ensure that all clients are manufacturing products to UK standards meeting all compliance and regulations.

What's involved for the Lead Auditor
  • Review Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with regulations
  • Lead and direct an audit team to certify products
  • Adhere to ISO 17065 & ISO 17020 standards
  • Plan and conduct internal and supplier audits
  • Monitor, investigate and close out any non-conformances
What you'll need
  • have experience of working in a Quality or Lead Auditor role
  • have experience carrying out internal audits
  • be familiar with ISO 17065 & ISO 17020
  • ISO 9001 experience
  • Knowledge of ADR preferred but not essential
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • be able to communicate at all levels developing strong relationships
  • have car and full UK driving licence
  • be willing to travel to customer sites
