Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a capable audit professional to lead assignments from planning through to completion, supervise on-site audit teams and review work by junior members, while developing relationships with clients and contributing to the firm’s growth.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification.
• Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• Experience leading audits and supervising junior team members.
• Good technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Supervise on-site audit teams and ensure work is completed to a high standard
• Review audit work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare and review statutory accounts where required
• Assist with audit planning, budgeting and resource allocation
• Support Managers and Partners on larger and more complex assignments
