Job summary

Platform Recruitment in Cambridge is seeking a Principal Audio Engineer to lead the architectural vision for next-generation audio processing. You will steer technical roadmaps for mission-critical audio systems and collaborate across embedded, hardware, and acoustics teams to deliver high-clarity voice processing.

The role requires 5+ years in real-time embedded audio or DSP, expert C/C++, and experience leading end-to-end projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in real-time embedded audio software or DSP algorithm development.
• Expert-level C/C++ programming.
• Deep knowledge of AGC, AEC, filtering and VAD.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for audio software, defining long-term roadmaps
• Design and implement advanced processing technologies
• Collaborate with embedded software, hardware, and acoustics teams to integrate audio subsystems
• Research emerging DSP methods and ML-based audio processing.
