Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Principal Audio Engineer in Cambridge to lead the architectural vision for next-generation audio processing used in mission-critical communications. You’ll define roadmaps, design advanced processing systems, and collaborate across embedded software, hardware, and acoustics teams to integrate audio subsystems.

The role requires 5+ years in real-time embedded audio or DSP, expert C/C++, and deep knowledge of AGC/AEC, filtering, and VAD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in real-time embedded audio software or DSP algorithm development.
• Expert-level C/C++ programming.
• Deep knowledge of AGC, AEC, filtering, and VAD.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for audio software, defining long-term roadmaps.
• Design and implement advanced processing technologies.
• Collaborate with embedded software, hardware, and acoustics teams to integrate audio subsystems.
• Research emerging DSP methods and ML-based audio processing.
