The Role

We’re looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to build the data foundation that powers Healf’s next stage of growth. You’ll take ownership of our dbt transformation layer, shape our Snowflake environment, and turn fragmented inputs into clean, scalable, analytics-ready pipelines. This role sits at the centre of our data ecosystem, partnering across Product, Engineering, and Analytics to ensure every decision is backed by trustworthy, beautifully modelled data. Where You’ll Make An Impact

• Architect and own Healf’s core dbt models, transforming messy reality into consistent, reliable, and well-governed datasets the entire business depends on.
• Build and optimise our Snowflake environment for performance, governance, and cost efficiency, ensuring our infrastructure scales as quickly as the company does.
• Unify and enhance ingestion pipelines (Airbyte and beyond), bringing structure and stability to how data lands, evolves, and is validated.
• Establish the gold standard for modelling, testing, documentation, and analytics engineering best practice across the team.
• Enable analysts, product managers, and business owners with intuitive models that speed up insight generation and eliminate operational drag.
• Mentor other analytics engineers, levelling up the team and embedding a culture of craftsmanship and ownership.

What You’ll Bring

• Deep experience owning and developing dbt transformation layers at scale.
• Mastery of SQL and modern data warehousing fundamentals.
• Proven expertise in Snowflake optimisation, including performance tuning, governance, and cost control.
• Hands-on experience with ingestion tooling such as Airbyte or Fivetran.
• A track record of taking ambiguous business requirements and turning them into scalable, elegant data structures.
• Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment where you set the bar, not follow it.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with ThoughtSpot or similar analytics tools.
• Ecommerce or consumer-tech data exposure, especially in modern D2C environments.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native data tooling.
• Prior work unifying messy operational data into clean, governed pipelines at high growth companies.
