Job summary

Sainsbury's London is seeking a Lead Analyst in the Data & Analytics function to own end-to-end analytics projects, coach junior analysts, and translate complex data into clear narratives that drive strategic decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-impact insights that influence commercial choices across brands.

Qualifications

Highly numerate / analytical background (degree in maths, stats, or similar, or strong analytical experience).
Strong technical skills — SQL and Python are essential.
Proven ability to deliver actionable insights and drive business change.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end delivery of analytical projects in the Strategic Projects Analytics team.
Coach and develop junior analysts and translate complex data into compelling narratives.
Build relationships across the business and challenge assumptions to propose innovative solutions.
Drive decision-making and business change through impactful analysis and storytelling.
