Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Lead AI Solutions Architect to lead assessment and design of AI capabilities within a SOC environment. You will identify high-value AI use cases, define secure architectures, and roadmap AI adoption across cyber operations.

The role requires expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic architectures, and strong SOC tech knowledge. Remote-first with London-based work options and a 4-month initial scope.

Lead AI Solutions Architect – Active SCUp to £655 per day – Inside IR35London / Primarily Remote4 months initially

We are seeking an SC Cleared Lead AI Solutions Architect to lead the assessment and design of AI capabilities within a Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment. The role will focus on identifying high-value AI use cases, assessing technical feasibility, defining secure target architectures, and producing a roadmap for AI adoption across cyber operations.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale AI solutions, with expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI architectures.
• Strong understanding of Cyber Security Operations Centres (SOC) and associated technologies including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, and security operations platforms.
• Extensive experience defining data architectures, API strategies, and integration patterns to enable AI capabilities within complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrable expertise in cloud and AI platform architecture, with the ability to assess technical feasibility and produce scalable solution designs.
• Strong knowledge of AI security, governance, assurance, and responsible AI principles, including mitigation of risks such as hallucinations, prompt injection, and sensitive data exposure.
• Experience conducting technical discovery, architecture assessments, and options analysis, including Build vs Buy evaluations and implementation planning.
• Ability to design human-in-the-loop controls, governance frameworks, and assurance processes to support the safe adoption of AI technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior technical and business stakeholders and translate complex concepts into clear recommendations.
